IMG Academies NFL Combine training class of 2012

The NFL Combine is the ultimate pre-draft showcase where a fraction of a second or an extra rep can make or break one’s draft stock. IMG Academies takes away the guess work for NFL prospects in combine preparation, having a coaching staff consisting of world renowned speed coach and Director of Speed and Movement Loren Seagrave, quarterback guru Chris Weinke, Mental Conditioning Specialist Trevor Moawad along with Strength and Conditioning Coach Scott Gadeken.  For the past two months over 30 NFL prospects have trained at IMG Academies in Bradenton, Florida including Luke Kuechly, Cordy Glenn, Ryan Tannehill, Stephen Hill, Kirk Cousins, Peter Konz, Mohamed Sanu and Russell Wilson.

IMG Academies has continued to excel in preparing draft prospects for the combine as current trainee Stephen Hill has led the way posting the fastest 4- yard dash time officially at 4.36 along with having the best broad jump among receivers at 11’1″. Cordy Glenn posted just the sixth fastest 40-yard dash time recorded by an offensive lineman at 5.15 while Luke Kuechly proved people wrong about his athleticism posting a 40-yard dash time of 4.58, vertical jump at 38 inches and 27 reps on the 225lbs bench press.

IMG Madden Football Academy Director Chris Weinke said:

“Sometimes it’s nice to know the answers to the test before taking the test. I don’t call it cheating I call it gaining an edge.”

IMG Performance Institute Director Trevor Moawad said:

“Successful people do what unsuccessful people don’t like to do so a lot of it’s in the preparation. How do you beat the combine? You beat the combine by training comprehensively in every aspect of performance.”
