The nineteen-year-old defeated Dimitar Kutrovsky, 6-1, 6-4, at the SAP Open in San Jose, California. Unfortunately, Harrison fell to Canadian Milos Raonic in the Semifinal, 7-6 (4), 6-2.
This deep runs comes just one week after Harrison made his Davis Cup debut, helping the United States to a 5-0 rout of Switzerland. Harrison defeated Michael Lammer 7-6 (0), 7-6 (4).
