IMG Madden Football Academy host annual mini-camps focusing on better fundamentals while learning advance techniques. These mini-camps attract some of the nation’s top football prospects, allowing them to showcase their talents to potential colleges while working with an NFL experienced coaching staff. Deadrin Senat made his presence known showcasing his talents, as he earned the Defensive Big Man MVP at IMG Madden Football Academy’s most recent mini-camp. Monday, Senat officially committed Florida State University to continue his football career.
Senat saw the mini-camp here at IMG Academies as an opportunity to touch up his game, compete with other talented prospects and to add more recruiting interest to an already impressive list of division one programs. Senat received offers from Florida, Miami, Georgia Tech, North Carolina, Tennessee and has now officially selected Florida State University to play defensive tackle.

Sometimes you just know when you found the right place. Senat had that feeling when he arrived for FSU’s junior day on Jan. 28. He got an offer during his visit, but didn’t talk about the offer or the other news surrounding the offer until Monday.
“I actually committed to Florida State at the junior day after getting that offer, but wanted to keep it quiet until after signing day,” he explained. “I felt with FSU I could get playing time and the coaches treat everyone equally. I have a good relationship with FSU defensive line coach Odell Haggins.”
Senat told Warchant.com what FSU’s coaching staff liked about him and how he would fit into the Seminole defense.
“The coaches like my size, vertical jump and how well I move from side to side as a defensive tackle,” Senat said. “I think the experience at the FSU camp was good for me last summer because I was able to show everyone the things I could do.”
Senat says it wasn’t really a surprise that he decided to pull the trigger. The Seminoles have been high on his list for a while.
“I already knew in my mind about my decision. I just had to FSU for their junior day and get another look,” he said. “I was just waiting on that offer, so once I got that, I was ready to make my decision.”

IMG Madden Football Academy Coach Tom Pratt had this to say on the talented Florida native:
“Deadrin has great athletic ability, is very quick, and has a strong desire to play as a defensive lineman,” Pratt remarked. “He has really quick hands, and plays with tremendous up field ability and skill to escape blocks. He’s going to be an upper echelon recruit; he’s got a chance to be something special.”
