After observing more than 400 high school football players from 27 states and seven countries in a three-month span, IMG Madden Football Academy coaches have selected 27 players for the inaugural high school All-Madden Team.
Chosen by esteemed coaches like Chris Weinke (Academy director and Heisman Trophy/National Championship winner), John Robinson (College Football Hall of Fame member) and others, the high school All-Madden Team honorees exemplify many of the same traits that Pro Football Hall of Fame member John Madden examines when selecting his prestigious NFL All-Madden Team.
“It is a tremendous honor to name these young men to the inaugural high school All-Madden Team,” Weinke said. “After teaching and observing these players throughout the summer, I strongly believe that they undoubtedly represent the next generation of leaders on and off the field. By focusing on IMG Madden Football Academy core principles like proper fundamentals, sportsmanship, strong character and total athletic development, these players have become some of the top preps in the nation and fully deserve a spot on the high school All-Madden Team.”
