Turkey’s top amateur golfers are at IMG Academies for three weeks in preparation for the 2012 World Amateur Team Championships, to be held in Antalya, Turkey. The group consists of  both the Boys’ and Girls’ teams that will be representing their country in the international amateur tournament. Basak Aydin, a member of the Girls’ team, is a full-time student at IMG Academies set to graduate in 2012.

Guray Yazici, Turkish team member, spoke on his experience here:

“The facilities here give me every opportunity to work hard, and in the future I’d love to come back so I can continue my education and still work on golf. In Turkey facilities are so far away from everything that it makes it difficult, so having everything in one place here is very nice.”
