The U.S. Soccer Development Academy League is a partnership between U.S. Soccer and the top youth clubs around the country to provide the best youth players in the U.S. with an environment designed to produce the next generation of National Team players. The IMG Soccer Academy U-17/18 boys’ team finished 3rd in the nation in 2009.
Participating in the 2009 U.S. Soccer Development Academy League Winter Showcase, the IMG Soccer Academy U-17/18 boys tied Potomac 0-0 and throttled Chivas USA 5-1 in the first two games of the event for IMG.
Striker Brett Jankouskas also made U.S. Soccer’s highlight package for two brilliant goals he scored against Chivas. Check out both goals here at the 2:30 mark… Notice the build-up to the first!
