David Leadbetter Golf Academy Students at the 1999 AJGA All-American Banquet........Mike Barbosa, Naree Song (Wongluekiet), Yunny Cho, Virada "Oui" Nirapathpongporn, Chan Song (Wongluekiet), Ty Tryon and Aree Song (Wongluekiet)

1999 was a good year for the David Leadbetter Golf Academy students as 13 of them were selected as AJGA All-Americans.    DLGA had 9 First Team All-Americans in 1999: Mike Barbosa, Christo Greyling, Ty Tryon, Chan Wongluekiet (now Song), Yunny Cho, Miriam Nagl, Virada Nirapathpongporn, Aree Wongluekiet (now Song) and Naree Wongluekiet (now Song). 

Ramon Bescansa and Erin Simmons were 2nd Team All-American Selections and  Calvin Kupeyan and Jeanne Cho were Honorable Mention selections.

Also that year, Virada Nirapathpongporn was selected at the AJGA Jerry Cole Sportsmanship Award winner!
