Former Soccer Academy Defender of the Year joins pro team

Brad Rusin, an IMG Soccer Academy student from 2002-2005 and IMG Defensive Player of the Year as a senior, was signed by the Carolina RailHawks of the United Soccer League First Division.

At an intimidating 6-foot-4 and 200 pounds, Rusin made 76 appearances for UCLA before graduating in 2008.

Rusin helped IMG win its first Dallas Cup when the U-19s won in 2005.
