Chris Perez didn’t make the big league squad out of spring training, but it didn’t take long for the flame-thrower to get the call.  Perez was called up to the St. Louis Cardinals on April 15th.  The 6′4 225lb RHP was 1-0, with 2 saves for the Memphis Redbirds, the AAA affililate of the Cardinals.  Perez will be asked to solidify the Cardinals bullpen.
